Johnny Cupcakes is the original unordinary bakeshop.

After starting out of the trunk of a car in 2001, Johnny Cupcakes has grown to be an exclusive, international brand with "faux-bakeries" in Boston, London and Los Angeles. Over the past 10 years, an inspiring community of collectors has formed, prompting customers to camp outside the stores for up to two weeks for limited edition product releases. Bruins Bereavement

Posted on April 26, 2012

Last night the Boston Bruins took on the Washington Capitals in game 7 of the first round in the Eastern Conference Stanley Cup Finals. Some of our team at Johnny Cupcakes along with gangs of local cupcakers were in attendance to support the Bruins, but obviously our presence didn’t help. The game was a nail biter, as it was tied 1-1 for the entire 3rd period, sending the game into sudden-death overtime. The Caps came out victorious, scoring the game winning goal a few minutes into the first overtime period, instantly enveloping TD Garden in a blanket of eerie silence, sending fans home with the heavy weight of defeat. It was as if the game were a house party and the Capitals winning were the cops arriving to ruin all the fun.
I guess there won’t be another Stanley Cupcakes Championship shirt this year, but the Bruins had a great season and we here at Johnny Cupcakes are all huge fans and supporters. Enjoy the off season and take the extra downtime to get ready for next year!
