2 years ago (whoa.. that went by quick!) a fan of my brand reached out to me saying that I was an inspiration to some of his creations and offered to send one of his tasty paintings my way. In addition to creating these great paintings, drawings and other projects– Ryan Jones is the Technical Director and Digital Artist for Industrial Light and Magic, + Lucasfilm, LTD. since 2003. He’s worked on movies such as The Incredibles, Transformers 1 + 2, Star Wars EP 3, Indiana Jones 4, and much more.
Ryan has an art show coming up in San Francisco on Tuesday December 15th. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it. However– If you live in or around San Francisco, throw on your favorite Johnny Cupcakes t-shirt and go check out his show. Might be neat to meet up with other Johnny Cupcake connoisseurs alike.
